Gary Mode Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 19, 2026

Gary Mode is a Chrome extension that replaces the images on a web page with photographs from garyfogelson.com.

What it collects: nothing. Gary Mode does not collect, store, sell or share any personal information, browsing history, or content from the pages you visit.

What it does:

• It acts on a tab only after you click its toolbar icon.
• It downloads a list of photos, and the photos themselves, from garyfogelson.com. Those requests are ordinary web requests to garyfogelson.com and include no information about you or the page you're on.
• It saves two things in your browser's local extension storage: the photo list (refreshed every 12 hours) and which tabs have Gary Mode turned on (cleared when you close the browser). Neither leaves your computer.
